About Us

Marina Cafe Wilmington Shores was established in March of 2015. We are located far off the beaten path in the heart of the Wilmington Marinas. The cafe sits on a quiet peninsula in Yacht Haven Marina with breathtaking views of sailboats and yachts that rest in the LA Harbor. The scenic patio boasts a panoramic scene filled with industrial cranes and ships juxtaposed by the Vincent Thomas Bridge with the San Pedro/Palos Verdes Peninsula silhouetted by the afternoon sunsets.

This hidden cafe serves fresh, home-style dishes daily for breakfast and lunch, along with a fabulous, seasonal Sunday Brunch Buffet once a month. Happy Hours on Fridays in the spring and summer include cold beers on tap and by the bottle along with wines and a tasty appetizer selection. Weekends have occasional live entertainment on the open-air patio. Diners are delighted by favorite plates such as the Fish & Chips, Angus Burger, Old School Tacos & Enchiladas, and breakfast dishes like the Hot Mess or Huevos Rancheros.

This hidden gem is owned and operated by born-and-raised, San Pedro/Rancho Palos Verdes local, Sheri Hadjis. She got an early start working with her family at their restaurant, El Sombrero, then went on to UCLA Culinary Arts School. Sheri later opened Miraleste Catering in 1996, which inspired her to open the brick-and-mortar restaurant that we know today as the Marina Cafe Wilmington Shores.

We appreciate your support and hope you can make Marina Cafe your personal hideaway and go-to spot for delicious food, beautiful views and a place to meet fun and interesting people with many stories to tell!
